Razorpay Launches AI Model for Payments Built With NVIDIA and AWS
What's happening
Razorpay has launched Vulcan, an AI foundation model for payments built with NVIDIA GPUs and AWS, trained on nearly three trillion data points drawn from about four billion payments. Vulcan analyzes roughly 3,000 signals per transaction to support routing, fraud detection, risk assessment and checkout personalization, with the goal of reducing failed transactions and strengthening fraud detection. Razorpay positions Vulcan as a single system to replace separate models for fraud, payment routing and checkout by learning payment behaviour across its wider Indian payments network.
Why it's trending
Payments players are racing to redesign rails and decisioning as transactions shift toward AI-initiated commerce and machine-driven flows.
