What's happening

J.P. Morgan Payments has embedded Klarna into its Commerce Platform in the United States, letting merchants offer Klarna's pay-in-full, interest-free installments and longer-term financing without building an integration. The move gives retailers across apparel, travel, health and other sectors instant access to Klarna's BNPL options and applies to merchants on a platform that processes roughly $2.6 trillion annually. Klarna says this is its first-ever integration with J.P. Morgan Payments and the capability is live as of Aug. 6.

Why it's trending

This is rising now because Klarna just went live with a first-ever U.S. integration into J.P. Morgan Payments' Commerce Platform, immediately opening BNPL to a massive merchant base.
