Cleverbridge completes France's first Passkey-authenticated agentic purchase, on a Revolut card

Cleverbridge says it completed France's first Passkey-authenticated agentic payment in a live checkout, using a pilot with Visa and Revolut. Separately, Revolut has started trials of in-store biometric payments called Pay with Smile at Kiss the Hippo coffee shops in Bloomsbury, Chelsea and Soho, running on Revolut Register and letting customers pay by looking into a camera. Revolut says merchants pay no processing fee on face payments as part of the trial to help independent venues.
