Fable is now included on Max plans (up to 50% of weekly limit)
What's happening
Anthropic changed how Claude Fable 5 is included across subscription tiers. Starting July 20, Fable 5 is included on Max and Team Premium plans, capped at 50% of the normal weekly usage limit for those plans; Pro and Team Standard customers keep access but move to usage credits with a one-time $100 credit and metered rates of $10/M input tokens and $50/M output tokens. The inclusion deadline had been shifted several times (June 22 → July 7 → July 12 → July 19) before the July 20 arrangement, and some Max users are reporting that their Fable usage is showing lower percentages (for example 30%).
Why it's trending
Anthropic is balancing demand and compute capacity, so it reworked which plans get permanent included Fable access and which switch to metered usage or credits.
